Description:
Standard 20 inch carbine configuration in 44 RF caliber with a pleasing dark brown patina on the barrel and magazine tube. Bore has visible rifling with scattered light pitting throughout. Sights include a blade that is integral to the barrel band front and a two leaf folding rear. Receiver has a nice aged brass patina. Lighter colored tight fitting side plates. Original saddle ring. Hammer and lever are mostly a brown color. Walnut stocks look good with some light handling and usage mars with a brass rifle style buttplate. A couple of stress cracks coming off the upper tang. A three piece cleaning rod in the butt. Nice smooth action. 155 year old Winchester that was made in 1869 and looks like it has a story to tell.
