Harrington and Richardson Armory Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. CBI Barrel dated 1 56. CBI is an after-market barrel made by Criterion. The rifle was manufactured in 1953-56. The Garand was the service rifle of the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. It remained in service with the Army Reserve, Army National Guard, and the Navy into the early 1970s. This rifle appears to a CMP Expert Grade rifle that features Commercial-Production Stock Set, and a Commercial-Production barrel chambered for .30-06 Springfield. No box. .30-06 Springfield
