Description:
Marked "Eagle Arms Co NewYork". This is a 6-shot spur trigger front loading cup fire in 30 cal. A very scarce gun. Engraved panel scene of a deer on one side. The backstrap engraving "From His Friends in New Haven Ct" and on the bottom "W. B. Doolittle". Frame and cylinder has elaborate floral engraving with punch dot background. Mechanics are good. Overall retains about 75% silver finish. Nice Mother of Pearl grips. Rosewood case in fine condition but missing a plaque off the cover. Inside is faded wine color lining. About a dozen front loading cartridges are included. A very rare great outfit overall.
