Description:
26 inch round barrel with a fine bore. Appears to have correct sights while missing the original tang sight. Barrel is a plum/brown with traces of original blue. Receiver has traces of case color with the balance turning a nickel color. Wood shows some minor use with a small piece missing near the frame. Nice action. There were about 1,800 sporting rifles made and most had the 26 inch round barrels chambered in the Spencer 56-46 bottleneck cartridge. They did make an octagon version as well. This is a good looking Spencer Sporting rifle.
