This Browning Arms Company, model Automatic 5,12 gauge shotgun, serial number 208266, 28 inch barrel.
The following information was proived by Browning Firearms Customer Service representatives: this serial number was made in Belgium ("FN" Fabrique Nationale) in 1938.
The shotgun has been well maintained by a single owner. There is a small crack in the lower left side of the stock, the butt plate has a chip on the upper left, and there is light superfical rust (see photos).
