This is a full box, 20 rounds, of .45-75 W.C.F. Black Powder "Centennial" 1876 ammunition manufactured by By Winchester for the Centennial Model 1876 rifle. The Green and black round corner box has the top label with "TRADE MARK REGISTERED IN U.S.A." making this a circa 1903-1905 box and was the last of the very desirable ones to carry the "MODEL "CENTENNIAL" 1876" labeling below the Cartridge Cut. This example is in near excellent condition with crisp graphics, having only minor flaking and rub wear on the edges with a solid box. The cartridges are in excellent condition. An important caliber for the Winchester collector and the last of "Centennial" marked box series.
