The grain in the wood meanders throughout the stock in a mesmerizing way. A good friend of mine likes to refer to these fine shotguns as artwork with function. This side-by-side certainly meets that definition and would be all the envy in the field.
Powell is a Birmingham gun maker in England. They started in 1802 and are well regarded as makers of fine shotguns.
The chokes are English with a tight left choke and an open right choke. I would recommend opening them or just opening the left one.
