Description:
This is a full box, 25 original rounds of .58 Calibre Musket Rim Fire Blank ammunition manufactured by U.M.C. in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The box has the Smith & Wesson's Patent date of April, 17, 1860 and was used in the post Civil War converted Springfield Muskets such as the Allin Converstion. The blanks were used at ceremonies and funerals. The two piece buff box is missing the back panel and corner seam separation on the top but is otherwise very good with a near excellent primary label. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A great box to display with your rifle.
