Description:
.74 caliber? Flat outlined iron lockplate with maker's name present in front of the outlined hammer, Holborn London on top of round 9 inch barrel. Brass trigger guard, ramrod guide and butt cap. Swivel ramrod with button ends. Heavy walnut stock, crack at muzzle on left side stretching back to barrel pin. Barrel has London Proof House marking of crown over intertwined CP. Two stage action works nice and clean. Overall length is 15 1/2 inches weights 3 pounds 3 ounces. Parker, Field & Sons operated from 1842 - 1877 at 233 High Holborn London
