The Glock 19 Gen 1 is a compact, striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, designed for versatility in self-defense, duty use, and concealed carry. As one of Glock’s earliest models, it set the standard for reliability, simplicity, and durability in polymer-framed handguns.

Frame & Finish: Full-size polymer frame with a matte black Tenifer-coated steel slide, offering excellent corrosion resistance. The early Gen 1 models had a smooth grip without finger grooves or an accessory rail.
Barrel: 4.02-inch barrel with polygonal rifling for improved accuracy and increased barrel life.
Grip: The original Gen 1 grip texture had no finger grooves or checkering, offering a simple yet effective design.
Sights: Standard Glock polymer sights (white dot front, white U-notch rear), with options for aftermarket upgrades.
Action: Safe Action System (striker-fired) with a consistent 5.5-pound trigger pull, featuring Glock’s built-in drop, trigger, and firing pin safeties.
