This P.08 Luger is from 1911. It has not been altered to have the hold open device installed. Markings on the front of the grip tie it back to the 2nd Bavarian Train Battalion, 2nd Company, medical/ambulance, infantry division. This unit saw lots of combat on the Western Front for four years. This example is still in great shape and comes with a holster and two magazines. The magazine s/n do not match the pistol. Great collectors piece. 9mm Luger
