Model 12's were Remington's first commercially successful pump 22's and were often used in shooting galleries and at country fairs.
Produced in one or another variation from 1909 into the 1930's
This (pre A) made in 1928 almost could not possibly be any nicer: NO non factory holes, almost completely free or scratches or handling marks**, NO loss of blue, still has the correct and often missing rear sight and functons perfectly.
*(very small chip near the toe...does not have to be reparied at all but the nice periord correct butt plate might be filed down to correspond to the small chip.
** ( small "bite" mark behing the lower tang and a little tiny bit of crud on the outside of the barrel forward of the front sight
Otherwise this nearly 100 yr old gun is in not too far from new condtion
Take down makes it easy to pack on camping trips or taking to deer camp for a litlle pre season fun with tin cans.
Holds 10 long rifle, 11 long and 14 shorts in the tublar magazine
