25½ inch octagon barrel. Bore is about good, near bright with light roughness scattered throughout. Full length magazine. Original sights. Action needs attention, feeds from magazine but does not eject properly. Walnut stock has Initials A.V.D. carved into the lefts side and C.V. DRAKE carved into the right side. There were 3,810 Colt-Burgess rifles manufactured 1883 - 1885. Nice example of a hard to find lever action rifle.
