Description:
BROWNING FN TROMBONE - Serial #69W599 made in Belgium by FN in 1969.
FN marked .22LR. cal. with 19" barrel length. Sights are a step adjustable rear and dovetailed front bead.
Stock and forearm are French Walnut with nice grain and color streaks.
Bluing is the usual FN color and shine with very slight wear on the slide tube.
Bore is clean, bright with no corrosion or wear.
Wood and finish show no marks, dings or damage.
Over all condition is excellent to like new.
This is a unique Trombone with a 19" barrel and not the standard 22".
It may have been an experiment to make it a carbine style.
Serial #69W599 was mfg. in 1969, just one year prior to Browning offering the 70W marked serial number Trombones in the US.
