Description:
This Winchester Model 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine, manufactured in 1874, is a fine example of one of the most iconic rifles of the Old West. Chambered in .44 Henry Rimfire, this carbine features a 20-inch barrel, a hallmark of the compact and practical design favored by frontiersmen, cowboys, and military units of the era. The rifle remains in very good condition for its age, showing honest wear consistent with over 150 years of history. The brass receiver retains much of its original gold color, with some worn areas adding to its character. The blued barrel and magazine tube exhibit scattered pitting and have aged to a rich brown patina. The walnut stock shows typical handling marks throughout, with a few small chips but no major damage. The bore has some pitting throughout but retains strong rifling, indicative of a well-preserved and potentially shootable example. This is a desirable and collectible Winchester 1866 SRC, a true piece of American firearms history.

C&R Handguns are exempt from this restriction. As they are exempt, they are unable to be shipped directly to that C&R License. California law will NOT allow shipment of C&R firearms directly to a C&R holder in the State of California. You must have the firearm shipped to a 01 FFL Holder.

NEW YORK: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through a dealer. Antique cartridge handguns require an FFL transfer in New York City.

Not all the firearms offered have been test fired, rather they have been given a visual inspection for purposes. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. By, the buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.

    RETURN POLICY: All firearms come with a 5-day Monday-Friday inspection/return policy. The inspection period begins at the time of delivery to your dealer. It is your responsibility to inspect the firearm within this time frame. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping. PLEASE, ask questions before.
