I'm selling my collection. Here is a Remington Model 8 Semi-Auto Takedown Semi-Auto Rifle, C&R or FFL is required. It's chambered for rarest .25 Remington rimless caliber of the famous Model 8/81 sery, it's a .30 Remington case necked down to.25 caliber. According to the serial number and the markings it was manufactured or shipping in 1916. Rarely found in such excellent original condition, the .25 Rem being the smallest caliber of the famous line of the Model 8, 22" barrel, the bore is very good and shiny with deep sharp rifling. The origina blue finish rates 80% thinning on hi edges, with very few pin prick clusters of erosion and tiny scratches. Serial numbers all matched. Sharp and well defined approval markings. It comes with its rare patented June 1900/W.F.Sheard front sight, folding W.King rear sight rare original period Marbles Flexible Peep sight ($300 value when you ever can find it). The dark walnut wood stock with a round pistol grip & an elegant belly perch & original U.M.C. Remington crescent buttplate, the metal & wood have small stratches from time and storage rack. This 109 years old rifle was well kept. The successful design of John Browning Remington Model 8. For reloader /collector for an extra $125 it could come with 2 forming/trimming Redding/RCBS dies (special order), 49 cases Remington cases 2 boxes 117gr SST Hornady & 1 old box of 60gr Speer bullets. The ammunitions, clip & pamphlets showed on picture are not for sale. I haven't shot this one. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures.
