Description:
SOLD    This F.N. Produced Browning High Power pistol was produced around 1940-41. The pistol's serial number is 140260. This is the tangent sight model without the stock cut out. I have the original capture paper issued to Private First Class M.E. Lemaigre. This pistol shows much service use. The bore is bright and sharp. This pistol is all matched numbers. There is very little original finish left. There is original finish in protected places. There is no pitting or rusting of the metal on this pistol. The action works just fine! The magazine is the correct style magazine. This pistol has the Nazi occupation proof marks on the barrel and front of the slide. The wood checkered grips are original to this pistol. There is no damage to the grips. The rear sight works correctly. Browning High Powers with the original capture papers are quite rare to find. Here is a nice High Power with the highly desirable Tangent Sight With the original papers. This would be a nice addition to any military collection!
