It has the standard 51/2 Inch barrel chambered to shoot the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. The bore is in very fine bright condition. The chambers are also in fine condition. This Colt is designed to shoot the 45 A.C.P. with half moon clips. This Colt will also shoot the 45 Auto Rim cartridge that was developed to work without the half moon clips having a thick rim to compensate. This pistol has been sent back most likely to Colt for refinish after the war. The quality of this refinish is of commercial grade Colt pistols! There is no dipping of the screw holes or flat screws. Very nice polish work. The workmanship is of first quality! The new bluing would rate a 98% or better condition. The action works great with no issues. This Colt comes with 7 half moon clips. The clips with the shells is for display only and not for sale. Curio&Relic J.N. Consn. (3) F.
