Description:
24 inch tapered round barrel shows 90% finish with light wear and handling marks. The bore is near excellent, fairly bright with smooth but lightly frosted surfaces and strong rifling. Original sights include No 21 Sporting front No 22H Sporting rear. The receiver shows 60% finish thinning in places and turning brown with light wear and handling marks. Magazine shows about 80% finish. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting showing a good deal of original finish with light wear and handling marks. Features a shotgun style hard rubber butt plate and added sling swivels. This desirable 405 WCF caliber Winchester was made in 1911 and has Belgian proof marks on the barrel and receiver.
