SOLD This Winchester was produced in 1884. The rifle's serial number is 159682. This rifle has the 24 inch octagonal barrel chambered for the 38 W.C.F. [38-40]. The bore is in good condition with some light pitting. The action works just fine with no issues. This rifle has the uncommon button magazine. The original barrel blue is mostly patina. The receiver is mostly patina with traces of the original bluing in protected places. The barrel flats have some light damage between the rear sight and the receiver. That is the only area of distortion of the flat edges. The lever hinge screw is the only latter replacement. All of the screws are in fine condition with no damage. The stock and forend have no cracks or wood damage. The cleaning rod is not in the stock compartment. This is a decent used Winchester that has not been abused or worn out.
