Ready to hunt is this handsome lightly used classic . Although born for the big woods in Maine, the Aderondacks and wooded upper midwest when chambered (somewhat rare) as this one is is in 270 it is also a capable moose and elk round at greater distances.
This gun is a very handsom beauty in 90% or better condtion for a nearly 70 yr old rifle and is disinguished by the more deluxe 5 Diamonds checkering pattern on both the forestock and butt stock. It comes with a period correct Bushnell 2 1/2 x Banner that is perfectly matched to this exceptional find. The fast pump action allows accurate follow up shots without taking youre eye from the sight picture helping to prevent lost or wounded game.
This has the correct and distinctive original alum. butt plate.
The scope (these were not expensive but are if really excellent quality) is as clear as when it left the factory many decades ago and is ready for you're fall hunt.
