Superb Browning Citori White Lightning O/U in 20 gauge carried but never fired, 26 inch barrels and weighs 6 pounds 12 ounces..
Unfortunately, the box and papers were lost. It was stored in, and comes with a wool lined Orvis Battenkill Over Under Shotgun Case. Made of rugged Battenkill canvas with leather accents, it has an acrylic shearling lining and a 8"x12" storage pocket.
The serial number 22703NPY63 ends in "NPY63". The N shows it is a 20 Gauge, PY means made in 1989, and the Y63 indicating a Citori Hunting and Lightning Model that weighs 6 pounds 12 ounces empty..
This has Invicta 26" barrels, Invector choke tubes are inexpensive and easy to find if wanted. The sliding safety is marked with a S for SAFE and slides side-ways to show an O (over) and U (under) indicating which barrel will be fired.
It has a superb silver coin finished, engraved steel receiver, highly polished blued barrels, and a fancy Grade walnut stock nicely checkered on both the grip and fore-end.
You won’t find a better-looking Browning 20-gauge Citori nearing 47 years old than this one. Was told from owner this is new, never fired, but without the box or paperwork, even if new I am listing it as used. The Orvis Shotgun Case alone is a $300.00 value.
These are still made and sell new for over $3,000.00 with slightly differant engraving and without the beautiful White Lightening markings. My opionion, they made better shotguns in 1989.
