Produced in 1988, this break-action semi-automatic shotgun remains in very good condition, with only faint wear typical of age and use. It features a 26” barrel, a modified choke (.023” restriction), and a vent rib with a silver front bead for precision shooting.
Mechanically, the shotgun is excellent—its smooth action, crisp trigger, and clear bore reflect the renowned precision of Cosmi firearms. With a versatile 2+1 or extended 7+1 capacity, it is both functional and luxurious.
The engraving is nothing short of spectacular. The entire bottom receiver showcases an intricate floral and scroll pattern, highlighted by a gold inlaid pheasant in a game scene. The engraving is signed by the esteemed “B & B Bonsi Brothers” next to the trigger guard, with the gold game scene portrait signed “D. Bonsi,” further elevating its artistic value.
The stock and forend are crafted from exhibition-grade walnut, featuring Cosmi’s signature checkering pattern on the pistol grip and forend. This Cosmi forend includes a blank gold diamond inlay, adding to its refined elegance.
