This is a matched pair of very special and highly desirable Beretta ASELs. In early 2000s, 28 of these 1960s-vintage 20 ga barreled actions were found by Beretta at their facility. Shortly thereafter, Beretta's custom shop completed these barreled actions with exhibition walnut stocks and hand engraving to the standard of the SO-Series of best-quality guns. These guns remain as new.

The magic of the ASEL is its extremely petite frame that fools one into thinking it's a 28ga gun! These guns are stocked straight-hand to identical dimensions and weights, both balancing slightly aft of the hinge pin for fast movement on quail and similar game.

Scalloped action with cross-bolt locking, Boehler Antinit steel barrels, straight English stock, single non-selective trigger, non-auto safety, ejectors, 14 5/8” length of pull to a checkered butt, matted vent rib with single front brass bead, silver finished action and furniture.

Engraved and signed by D Gametti. Scroll with game scene cameos. Setter with three flushing partridges on the left side and a pointer with a lone flushing woodcock on the right.
