This is a diminutive little iron frame pistol that has an overall mottled gray and plum-brown patina with delicate floral engraving and maker’s name on the left side: "PERRINS & SON / WINDSOR." The bag-shaped walnut grip has fine checkering with a small blank escutcheon on the back. There are a few areas where the points have flattened, but no cracks or chips, and the action and sliding safety are both fully functional. Thomas Perrins was a Windsor maker who operated 1843 & 1868. Windsor marked guns are seldom seen, and this example is in very good-fine condition. Antique; Price: $650.00 Antique: Yes |
