Offered for sale this week is a very interesting special order Smith and Wesson Chiefs Special Centennial Model. Shipped directly to a US Congressman's office in Washington DC in 1952. Congressman King had his signature engraved on the pistol as noted in the factory letter. He also ordered with Birdseye Maple grips. A very rare grip option. The pistol remains in mint original condtion housed in its original box.
