.450/400 Nitro Express caliber, 24" (Krupp steel) barrels with ivory bead ramp front sight and 5 leaf folding express sight on a quarter rib. Case hardened Anson & Deeley box lock action with W.J.J. JEFFERY & CO. in gold on the sides. Top lever opening with twin underlocking lugs and third bite. Double triggers and extractors. Checkered forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a hardrubber buttpad. LOP: 14 5/8". Weight 10lbs 3oz. Comb: 1 1/2" Heel 2 1/8" The receiver retaining most of the beautiful casehardened finish. The barrels with all of the blue and mint bores. Excellent wood and checkering. Cased in oak and leather with an additional canvas cover for protection. Accompanying the rifle are extra mainsprings, and an abundance of reloading accessories that include RCBS dies, several hundred cases and bullets. Mfg. 1910.
