This Colt 1911- A1 was produced in 1931. The pistol's serial number is C 160367. This pistol is the standard Government Model chambered to shoot the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. This Colt shows some very light handling but is possibly unfired. There is some very light blue loss on the slide rails from working the action. The bore is very bright and minty looking. The original bluing would rate a 99% condition. over all. The original wood grips are in very fine condition. The original commercial two tone magazine is in very fine condition. This is a real stunning looking Colt! The original box is serial numbered to this Colt. The box is in somewhat fragile condition. The end labels are fully intact and easy to read. The original instruction booklet, cleaning brush, and pamphlet is with this box. These early 1911- A1 civilian model pistols in this fine of condition are very hard to find! Having the original box is a really big plus! Here is one of these highly collectable pistols to grace any fine collection!
