This Colt was one of the first guns shipped to San Francisco after the earth quake of April 18th 1906. This Colt was shipped on May 1st 1906 with an order of 10 guns. The factory letter states the order was shipped to Pacific Hardware and Steel co. of San Francisco. This colt is chambered for the 41 Long Colt cartridge. It has the 4 3/4 inch barrel. The bore and chambers are in very fine condition with bright bores and sharp lands. The action works great with fine timing. All of the cocks are intact and not damaged. The grips are serial numbered to this pistol. These grips are in very nice condition with strong checkering. There is faded color cased finish on the frame. The hammer also shows faded color cased finish. The bluing is strong in protected areas. The original bluing would rate a 55% condition. The screws are intact showing most of the nitre bluing.
