Beautiful S&W model Pre-24 .44spl revolver. This is considered model .44 Hand Ejector Fourth Model 1950 Target. This is thought to be factory "A" engraved. Original model manufactured in estimated 1956 based on S143xxx serial number. 6.25" barrel. Metal in excellent conditon with no major wear in bluing. Engraving is sharp. Comes with presentation box whihc is lielly not original to the gun. Grips are beleived to be aftermarket as well. This is more sought after and rare than later model 24.
