Description:
1921 Police Luger with a holster that was modified to Police specs. The gun appears to be all matching with the exception being the trigger and the grips. This gun has quite a history. Looking at the front grip strap you can see a unit mark that was removed at some point. Then a unit marking was added that signifies that the gun was issued to the rural police in the Scheidemuhl district as pistol 110. The sear safety is still present on this Luger. The magazine safety has been removed at some point. The magazine is a early war 2, eagle/63 proof magazine. The barrel shows a good amount of finish, with light pitting. All controls function as they should. The barrel has a good amount of rifling. If this Police Luger could talk!! The holster started it's life as a military holster. At some point it was modified to the police configuration. The attachment strap is a non period replacement. The holster flap has a approx 2 inch tear from the magazine pouch to the tool pouch. The back of the holster exhibits a police unit proof and a serial number. Toward the toe of the holster is a L.Z.A., Breslau proof. All in all this is a very cool, historic Luger rig!
