This Mossberg 500A 12 Gauge pump shotgun was likely manufactured in 2002, based upon the serial number of R263950.
It will fire 2-3/4” or 3” shells. The 28” vent rib barrel is also ported. Bead sights sit at mid-length and at the muzzle end of the barrel. The shotgun will accept Accu-chokes.
A ventilated recoil pad sits at the end of the wood stock. The trigger is a gold color. The action is smooth, the bore is clean and the barrel is bright. A tang safety sits at the rear of the receiver.
The wood does show signs of light use, as you’d expect, but is in overall Good condition. The finish on the barrel grades as Very Good. The receiver does have some small scratches, primarily on the left side at the top of the receiver. Please see the photos.
Overall, this is a Good example of a budget friendly 12 Gauge shotgun with a lot of useful life left in it.
