Description:
As indicated by its name, the rook rifle's intended prey was small game including rooks and rabbits. It was designed to be light enough to be carried for a walk in the country, accurate and powerful enough to take small game and usually stylish in balance, fit and finish. This rook rifle has a 26-7/8 inch tapered barrel. Sights include the ramp front sigh, two-leaf rear sight and folding tang peep sight which folds into the tang. Barrel retains most all of a quality refinish blue. Frame has good traces of original case colors. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Checkered pistol grip stock is in good condition with a cheek piece and horn grip cap. Steel trapdoor but plate. A nice little rifle!
