Description:
24 inch tapered round barrel. Very good bore is bright showing lightly frosted surfaces with only a small area of light pitting and strong rifling throughout. Sights include a No. 21 blade front with a Marbles filler in the rear dovetail and a Redfield receiver sight. Metal surfaces have been refinished now showing light wear and handling marks with a few freckles scattered here and there. Walnut stocks have been embellished with custom diamond checkered panels on the forearm and what appears to be maple diamond inlays on each side of the buttstock. They now show only a few minor handing marks and feature a crescent rifle buttplate and a sling-swivel/bipod stud added to the underside of the forearm. Made in 1920.
