This is a cased British pepperbox of about 36 cal, made by Matthew of Kendal in mid 1800s UK, just north of Manchester. These guns signified an important short lived transition from single shot pistols to revolvers. Good working condition, well marked. No license needed to buy except NJ and NY residents.
