"NSN, circa 1777-1780, .69 caliber, 44.5"" round smooth bore ""US"" marked barrel. Barrel and other ron parts are a light grey patina with scattered areas of oxidation visible. Lock plate is marked with ""Crown/N/Charleville"" Stock has been light sanded at some point with ""UNITED/STATES"" still visible right side of the butt stock, rear barrel band spring has been removed. Action does function correctly, but is loose at full cock.
