Synopsis: This is the most desirable of the early Glock pistols, the classic Gen 1 Model 17 with two high capacity 17 round magazines in matching box! Description: Standard configuration Glock 17 Gen 1 with 4.375in barrel, fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight, both with white highlights. Left side of slide marked with manufacturer, model, country of origin, and caliber. Full serial number on right side of barrel hood and slide, each suffixed by Austrian proofs. Textured Gen 1 frame. Two original high cap 9mm magazines marked for 17rnds, each with “U” marking at bottom of spine representing the rebuild and resale to American and Canadian market post weapons ban. Complete with matching “tupperware” box, this example having been sold as a factory rebuild in 12/95. Condition: VG with sharp edge wear and scuffing, as one might expect from a pistol that has seen moderate use. One magazine painted “5 SABO” on right side. Bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
