Description:
This Colt Model 1902 has a 6 inch barrel with a very good bore showing some slight frosting in the groves. The pistol is quite attractive in period nickel with Ivory grips. This pistol is the more desirable model with the forward slide serrations. The metal surfaces of the pistol show 98% period nickel which has dulled slightly overtime almost giving the appearance of silver plating. All markings remail clear and fully visible. The hammer shows a good deal of the case colors while the trigger shows generous amounts of fire blue. The Ivory grips rate excellent with a pleasing yellow patina and has one crack on the upper screw on the right panel. It come with a period tooled loop holster. A rare find of an original Browning designed gun.
