Description:
This gun is the type 2 India pattern musket. It features brass furniture and buttplate. 39 inch round barrel with a brown patina. Wood has a couple of small repairs. Lock functions correctly. It has the GR and crown marking in front of the hammer. Towards the back of the lock plate is the "Tower" marking. Correct ramrod. A fairly decent early flintlock. Complete with a bayonet that may not be correct for this gun. Style is right but fit isn't good.
