One of the pistols that defined .22LR for competition, The Mark I was one of the first pistols introduced by Sturm Ruger, being introduced in the early 1960's right after the success of the Ruger Standard's introduction in 1949. The Luger-like shape of the Mark I not only made it highly recognizable, but its diagonal single-stack magazine gave it a reliable performance that has made it a beloved target pistol for decades. This Mark I does show some wear to the external finish, with some age and pitting on the barrel, however, the trigger, slide, and bore are perfectly intact.
