For your consideration, the Walther P1 semi-auto pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Initially designated P38 for 1938 when it was officially adopted by the Wehrmacht just before World War II. Initially produced from 1939 to 1945 as a replacement to the P08 which was more expensive to produce. The P1 began production in 1963 this model being manufactured in 1965. 9mm Luger
