Description:
Here’s a gun for all you vintagers out there. This is a W&C Scott & Son side lever hammergun that started out life as a 12 gauge. Somewhere along the line someone honed out the barrels to remove the pits rendering the gun unsafe to shoot. As a result, to make the gun a shooter for all of us vintage gunners, the barrels were sent to Briley to have 28 gauge tubes installed. This is a fun gun to shoot. The gun is in, overall, great condition with very shootable dimensions. See the specs. below. The barrels have been professionally refinished by master barrelsmith, Breck Gorman and show a beautiful damascus pattern. The wood shows typical minor dents and scratches that are appropriate for the age of the gun. The locks are beautifully engraved with scroll work and game birds. The gun is on face and locks up tightly.

This is an antique that can ship directly to buyer. Buyer pays shipping and insurance cost. Shipping costs for the lower 48 states are $65 plus insurance for long guns and $35 plus insurance for hand guns. No shipping to outside of the United States.
