Here is a decent pre Civil War 1851 Colt Navy. 99,677 serial with a Hartford Barrel Address. This is an unique serial range, there were a fair amount of 1851 Colt Navies that were documented as being sent South in the 98,000 to 101,000 serial range (+/-, the range is an estimate and by no means proven). They were all with Hartford Barrel Addresses . This particular 1851 Colt is in great working order and has 60-65% of its cylinder scene remaining. This revolver came out of the Hillsborough NC area. Previous owner initials are carved in the left side of grip "GT". Overall a gray / brown patina with traces of original finish in remote areas. All numbers match: loading lever, barrel, cylinder, frame, cylinder pin, triggerguard, and backstrap. Here is a chance to own a neat piece of American History. Please feel free to ask questions.
