Description:
30 inch octagon barrel shows 95% re-blue thinning slightly near the muzzle with a few scattered light handling marks. Excellent bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Sights include a Wind Gauge Globe Target front, a Sporting rear and a Mid-Range Graduated Tang mount peep. The frame retains 85% case colors. Checkered pistolgrip walnut buttstock and schnabel forend with ebony tip insert remain in fine condition with a light coat of finish added showing a fine crazing in places with light wear, handling marks and a very fine crack coming back form the upper tang. Features the late-style heavy smooth steel buttplate retaining some smoky case colors. Barrel, frame, butt-plate, forearm and buttstock are numbered to match. Very nice late production Hepburn.
