Description:
This is a classic pre-war Marlin 39-A chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle, manufactured in 1941. The rifle is in very good overall condition, featuring a blued barrel that shows minor speckling consistent with age, but retains strong original finish. The wood stock is in very good shape with only light handling marks, preserving its vintage character. Equipped with a tang-mounted peep sight for enhanced accuracy. The bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling, making this a highly shootable collector's piece. Mechanically sound and tight, a fine example of Marlin's early craftsmanship.
