Description:
This is a standard Worcester production Allen & Thurber Co. 36 caliber Dragoon Pepperbox with an 1837 Patent date. These were popular during the 49er Gold Rush era. There is no real blue, only a plum color on the metal surface. The mechanical function is good plus and all the nipples are intact. This is a 6 shot heavy smooth bore Dragoon size pepperbox revolver. This is serial number 129 and is matching numbers. A loaded pepperbox this size would weigh in at about 3 pounds loaded and has a 6" Barrel length.
