J.C. Higgins Model 20 - 12 Ga. - Deluxe Pump Shotgun - Checkered walnut pistol grip style stock and semi - beavertail checkered forend with cushioned recoil pad. 26 In. long ventilated rib barrel with vented Poly-Choke - from Full to IMF choke selections with a front brass bead sight. Tubular magazine - 6 shot x 2.75 ammo. Magazine cut off feature with cross bolt safety. Exclusive free fall feature , these were one of the fastest pump repeaters of it time . Bore is clean and bright .Barrel and receiver are retaining 100% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks.Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent. Shotgun has had very little use. Built for J.C. Higgins by High Standard . Comparable to the High Standard 200 - Deluxe . Manufactured from 1948 to 1962. This one was manufactured in 1961. Collector quality.
