Very decorartive Pirate Ship's Captain flintlock pistol measurimg about 19 1/2" long woitha 12 1/2" long barrel. The special gun was walnut wood covered in calf skin long ago, and, has elaborate brass engraved and repousse panels The side plate has wear to the front end where it was put through a sash at the wastre amny, many times as these guns were often used for over 100 years.Hammer has two cocks and the flint showers sparks into the pan. The mainspring is very strong also. Calber appears to be 62.
