A very high quality Laurona, sidelock, 13 ga. double shotgun in as new condition. Built before 1972 in the same style as a British Purdey Best with comparable workmanship. It weighs 6 lbs. - 5 oz. with 27-1/2" barrels choked modified and full. All the Best shotgun features are present:
- Third bite action bolting with double Purdey underlugs
- Anson pushrod forend
- Auto ejectors
- Full hand detachable 7 pin sidelocks with intercepting safety sears
- Bushed front removable firing pins
- Gas vents on the fences
- Articulated (hinged) front trigger
- Straight grip stock with drop points and checkered butt
