RARE SAVAGE MODEL 15 .380 ACP HAMMERLESS AUTO PISTOL, #10XXX, MADE 1915. Only a limited number of these were made from 1915-1917 when the model was discontinued. It was obviously intended to compete with the Colt 1908 hammerless .380 and shares the same grip safety feature as the Colt. This is an excellent example that retains fine high polish blue overall with minor wear on the barrel sides toward the muzzle and some thinning on the rear of the grip safety. Still some good case color on the trigger. Exc. markings and "SAVAGE QUALITY" with Indian logo hard rubber grips. Correct magazine used only on this model. Manual safety and grip safety function correctly. Tight action with exc. bright bore. Made in .32 ACP and .380 ACP all of which are scarce with the .380 made in quantity of about half of that made in .32. Super quality all steel 110 year old auto.
